The location is convenient, placing guests within a short drive to Whitstable town and high street. While the well-cooked and presented breakfasts are a highlight, some guests have noted the afternoon tea might not meet expectations in terms of quality and service. the staff was friendly. the breakfast service was attentive and quick. we felt welcomed during our meal. the hotel location provided great views.
the room was small, especially for two people. the wardrobe door was hard to open due to the bed's position. this made accessing clothes difficult! parking was limited and sometimes blocked the entrance.

Understaffed and Overlooked

The room was clean upon arrival, which I suppose is the bare minimum one expects.
The place seemed understaffed. Waiting for coffee reminded me of an eternity, and when it finally arrived, I had finished my meal. Breakfast took 45 minutes, and even the checkout process involved a 15-minute wait since no one was at reception.
